These cooling blocks are ice free, unlike traditional ice buckets. Designed to keep your samples safe, the DryChill blocks safely store samples without sample degradation caused by temperature fluctuations. Benchmark designed the DryChill blocks to do just what the name implies; keep samples cold and dry. Cooling without ice means almost no condensation and mess free cooling. The DryChill cooling blocks utilize a gel refrigerant that maintains cold temperatures for extended periods of time without freezing. When the block begins to warm, it lets you know by the visual indicator changing color from purple to pink. The DryChill blocks are available in 4 different sizes to fit your cooling needs. The cooling duration is dependent upon the size you choose.
