Integral check valve resists corrosive filtrates and fumes

The Scienceware® Aspirator Pump is molded of high-density polyethylene, is equipped with an integral check valve, and removable tube connector. The tube connector may remain attached to the flexible tubing leading from your filtering flask. To reconnect the flask, simply plug the connector into the aspirator. An enclosed length of 3/8” O.D. polyethylene tubing is provided to insert into the discharge end of vacuum pump to reduce splash. The Scienceware® Aspirator Pump operates efficiently on water pressures of 11 psi (75842 N/m2) and above. Maximum attainable vacuum is 27.4” Hg (696mm) with an approximate water flow of 1.5 gallons per minute (6 liters). The Aspirator Pump is excellent for use with corrosive filtrates and may also be used as a vacuum suction tool to draw up spilled acids.
